Even here in Arizona there are koi ponds. I've learned the only way to draw koi is loosely and in motion, since they are by nature like that. Someday I will get the feeling just right...

I wanted to draw this lady recently for how she was holding her arms. I drew her later from memory, trying to "feel" how the hands would go. It captures the pose pretty well. She was calm and interested in the person speaking to her.
